Super Antioxidant

Green tea has been used for thousands of years in Asia, both as a drink and herbal medicine. Researchers who have studied green tea has been shown that it is a superb source of potent polyphenols, the most important being "catechins", particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is a strong antioxidant include used in food production and current research on antioxidants. Phenol group in green tea are extremely active, easily captures and neutralizes free radicals and other pro-oxidants. Researchers have found that EGCG is more than 200 times stronger than vitamin E to neutralize pro-oxidants and free radicals that attack fat. EGCG is also 20 times more potent than vitamin E in reducing the number of dangerous and possibly mutagenic peroxides that exists in the fat and blubber. Has also a positive effect on cholesterol.

There is a study from Japan showing that people from green tea production areas have not as likely to get cancer because they drink a lot of green tea. If the average number of persons who died of stomach cancer in Japan, to 100, the figure is in areas where production of green tea 34 for men and 54 for women, it is clear that "catechins" as contained in green tea, have a wonderful impact on preventing cancer, since it believes that "catechin" manages to control the gene mutation. Actually, announced Mr. Hara (Mitsui Research Institute for food and agriculture) that "catechin" can reduce tumors in rats. The mechanisms are not known fully, but we believe that catechin helps to make cell membranes strong. It discusses the moment that Vitamin ACE has an effect against cancer. Japanese green tea contains high amounts of Vitamin ACE.
